The protection of client data is paramount to our business success and all personal data is treated with the strictest confidence. We always act in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and codes of practice relevant to the services provided. We adhere strictly to the eight Data Protection principles as detailed below:-
- All personal data must be obtained and processed fairly and lawfully and must not be processed except in compliance with these principles.
- All personal data must be obtained for a specified and lawful purpose and must not be processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose.
- All personal data collected and processed must be adequate, relevant and not excessive for that purpose.
- All personal data must be accurate and kept up to date.
- All personal data must not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose.
- All personal data must be processed in accordance with the data subject’s rights.
- All personal data must be kept secure from unauthorised access, accidental loss, damage or destruction.
- Personal data must not be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area unless that country has equivalent levels of protectiob for such data.
We also have procedures in place to protect against organised crime and fraud. These include compliance with verification procedures, staff security checking and working closely with clients, advising them of the best methods for protecting themselves against these crimes.
