Q.Who are Heirtrace?
A.Working for financial services companies, lawyers, charities and membership organisations across the UK, Heirtrace proactively traces missing individuals or their legal heirs to reunite them with their assets.
Q.Do you verify the addresses you obtain?
A. Yes, we use a variety of methods. If there is any doubt we correspond in simple terms with the contact , subject to your prior approval, to ensure total accuracy of the information

A. Heirtrace takes time and effort, combining the use of technology with genealogical experience and forensic analysis to cross reference and verify each case in depth.
Q.Why is this a problem for organisations?
A. If there are assets owing to an individual, they do not belong to the company, and there is no defensible reason why they should not be returned. A. All the information we use to obtain contacts’ current whereabouts is held in the public domain. All our work is Data Protection compliant. We maintain over 58 million individual records, utilising electoral rolls and birth, marriage and death registers and other public records. We combine this with wide experience and a forensic approach to analyse and solve even the most difficult or old cases.
